Useful Information
PE for the Autumn Term will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays. Please send children to school in PE kits on these days.
Homework will continue to be sent home each week which will include reading, spellings and timetables. Times Table practise will take place daily in school. We very much encourage the children to regularly practise their times tables at home. Being rapid and fluent in times tables is essential for future success in maths. Your child has been given a school reading book. Please try to read with your child for a short time each night and remember to sign the reading diary. Reading books and reading diaries should be brought into school each day. Your child's reading book will be changed at least once a week.
Children can bring in a water bottle to keep in class, which must be clearly labelled with your child's name on it. Please note disposable water bottles are not allowed in school. Juice, fizzy drinks, including Prime drinks, are not allowed in school.
Children can bring a small, healthy snack for morning break such as a piece of fruit, a box of raisins or a low sugar cereal bar. Sweets, chocolates and cakes are not allowed in school for break time snacks.
